Laurence S. Masuoka, DMD FAGD

Dr. Laurence Masuoka received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1983 from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Dental Medicine, where he served as Student Body President. He had completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Southern California. After six years and a promotion to Major the U. S. Air Force Dental Corps, Dr. Masuoka started his private practice in Fair Oaks in 1989. He was awarded Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry and now practices dentistry jointly with his sister, Dr. Marleen M. Masuoka.

Dr. Masuoka and his wife and children reside in Fair Oaks. He is very active in community affairs. He has served in leadership positions for the Fair Oaks Community Planning Advisory Council, the Fair Oaks Recreation and Parks District, and the Fair Oaks Elementary School PTA. He is also a U.C. Master Gardener, and currently serving as a Trustee for the San Juan School District.

Marleen M. Masuoka, DDS

Dr. Marleen Masuoka studied dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 1993. She had previously received bachelor’s degrees from the University of California, Davis, and the University of California, San Francisco.

Following her graduation in 1993, Dr. Masuoka practiced pediatric dentistry for the Weideman Professional Dental Corporation. She joined her brother in private practice in 1995, practicing family and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Masuoka has continued her dental education completing a Comprehensive Program in Esthetic Dentistry at the University of California, San Francisco. She has completed studies in Dental Sleep Medicine, which includes treatment for snoring and sleep apnea.

Dr. Masuoka resides in the local area with her husband and three children. She enjoys traveling, reading and recently became a certified scuba diver.
